Movies/Series – over the years I joined a multitude of projects as sound supervisor, music mixer or sound re-recording mixer. I’ve contributed to movies, documentaries, TV and streaming series, and, of course, many live concert recordings. It is always exciting to bring these worlds of audio and image together to create a full compelling “story”. The intense training and attention to detailed work on frequencies involved in mixing music became a powerful asset in sound re-recording for picture!
Animation – with my partners Alexis Puttuti and Monica Sierra at JAMMA Music we created the Spanish versions for the world-reknown kid’s animation character Baby Shark, and also for the character that originated BS, the little Pink Fong, all created by Korean power house The Pink Fong Company (originally SmartStudy Inc). We created versions, re-recorded talent and completed post for more than 500 episodes over 5 years, starting in 2017
Multi-media - collaborations with the brilliant Colombian-born, Miami-based artist Federico Uribe invited me to create a spacial soundscape for his installations “Plastic Coral Reef”(2019) and “Lush”(2022). Based on the artist briefing I co-wrote, recorded and mixed soundscapes for custom surround settings. The soundscapes are based on music and natural elements that at times where harvested “at the source” (ocean, jungles...), and the sonic element provides the visitors with the sensation of being fully immersed in the worlds (re-)created by Federico’s phenomenal talent. Both installations were presented across the world, including a special event with “Plastic Coral Reef”at the Venice Bienal in 2019.
